Socrates leads Palawan Agriculturists’ Day 2024

Palawan Governor V. Dennis Socrates has graced the celebration of the Palawan Agriculturists’ Day 2024 led by Provincial Agriculture Office (PAgO).

The event, held at the Uno Hotel, Lungsod in Puerto Princesa, was attended by some 100 agricultural workers in the province as well as a number of retirees.

A motorcade was held to kick off the event. It was followed by discussion on “Aligning Agriculture Profession in the Government Service” and “Magna Carta for Agricultural Extension Workers.”

PHRMO Rolando Buñi and Mr. Bernard James R. Tandang from DA-ATI served as resource persons.

“Lubos naman ang naging pasasalamat ni Gob. Socrates sa mga ito,” said the governor.

“Binigyang diin din ng gobernador ang kahalagahan ng mga agricultural workers sa pagpapanatili ng malusog na mga Palaweño gayundin ang pagsusulong upang masiguro ang food security sa lalawigan,” he added.
