Governor Nilo P. Demerey, Jr. of Dinagat Islands welcomed Mr. Hwang Sang Gi from South Korea to the Provincial Governor’s Office on January 5, 2024.

The Governor’s Office, represented by Executive Assistant II- PGO, Mr. Jhon Philip P. Tan, engaged in discussions with the South Korean delegate regarding potential collaborations, including the recruitment of local workers.

The delegate expressed admiration for the diligence of Dinagat Farmers, signaling a positive step towards a mutually beneficial partnership.

This visit underscores Governor Demerey’s commitment to strengthening ties between the Provincial Government of Dinagat Islands and South Korea, with a particular focus on advancing the livelihoods of local farmers.
