MAGALANG, PAMPANGA — The organizers of the Philippine Agri-Tech Ecosystem Expo (PATEEX) 2025 have officially announced the rescheduling of the highly anticipated event from November 21–23, 2025 to the new dates of November 28–30, 2025, still to be held at Pampanga State Agricultural University (PSAU) in Magalang, Pampanga.
The adjustment was made in response to the recent
announcement by PSAU extending its “study-from-home” arrangement until October
30 due to a spike in influenza-like illness (ILI) cases affecting both students
and faculty members.
According to a university survey conducted from October
23 to 24, approximately 42 percent of the 3,253 students surveyed —
or 1,320 individuals — reported symptoms of ILI. Similarly, 135 out
of 339 teaching and non-teaching personnel (around 40 percent) were
found to be experiencing similar symptoms.
These findings were made public by the university’s official student gazette
over the weekend.

In response, PSAU has opted to maintain a skeletal
workforce and remote learning setup to help mitigate the spread of illness
within the campus community.
Organizers’ Statement
In light of these developments, the PATEEX 2025
Organizing Committee, led by CCNPH, BB88 Advertising & Digital
Solutions Inc., and News Philippines Online Maharlika Media Inc., made the
prudent decision to move the event one week later.
This aims to prioritize public health, ensure safety, and give sufficient
recovery time for both the PSAU community and event participants.
“The well-being of our partners, exhibitors, and
guests remains our top priority. We believe that this short postponement will
ensure a safer and more successful Agri-Tech Expo experience for everyone,”
said Henry V. Bayubay, President of News Philippines Online Maharlika
Media Inc. and BB88 Advertising.
