Magalang, Pampanga, Philippines – A historic alliance was formalized between the Pampanga State Agricultural University (PSAU) and News Philippines Online Maharlika Media Inc. (NPOMMI) through the signing of a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) on September 11, 2025, in Magalang, Pampanga. This partnership marks a defining moment for Philippine agriculture, paving the way for innovation, collaboration, and sustainable growth through the upcoming Philippine Agri-Tech Ecosystem Expo (PATEEX) 2025.

 A Shared Vision for Agricultural Innovation

The agreement underscores PSAU’s role as a premier center of agricultural education and innovation, working closely with NPOMMI, a dynamic media and advocacy platform committed to amplifying positive change in agriculture and rural development.

Through this partnership, PSAU and NPOMMI pledge to:

Promote agricultural education and awareness by featuring cutting-edge technologies, research breakthroughs, and climate-smart practices.

Strengthen collaborations between academe, farmers, cooperatives, and private sector stakeholders to accelerate progress in food security and sustainability.

Amplify the voices of farmers, fisherfolk, and agripreneurs through inclusive media and digital platforms. Position agriculture as a key driver of nation-building, inspiring the youth to pursue careers and ventures in agritech and agribusiness.

Inspiring Leadership and Strong Commitment Dr. Anita David, President of PSAU, expressed her enthusiasm for the partnership: “This agreement is a defining step in uniting education, innovation, and media for the greater good of our farmers and communities. With NPOMMI as our partner, PSAU reaffirms its mission to be at the forefront of agricultural transformation.”

Mr. Henry V. Bayubay, President-CEO of NPOMMI and Biorganism Corporation, echoed this commitment: “PSAU’s leadership and expertise provide credibility and direction to this movement.  Dr. Virgilio Lazaga, Assistant Secretary for the Agri-Sector and Board Director of the Cooperative Development Authority (CDA), further inspired the guests with his keynote message, highlighting the national significance of this momentous event.
